Department of School Education Punjab has released the notification for the recruitment of Master Cadre (Border Area) Posts. Eligible candidates can apply before 30-01-2022 (05:00 P.M) (Extended Date – 05-05-2022).

Science (Medical):- (i) Should have passed B.Sc. with 45% marks in the case of General Category candidates and 40% marks in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes, and Physical Handicapped Candidates from a recognized university or institution with any of the two subjects i.e. Biology, Physics, and Chemistry or B.Sc. Honors) in either of these subjects or B.Sc (life science) or B.Sc (Physical Science) or B.Sc (Bio+echnology) or B.Sc (Honours) or B.Sc (Industrial Microbiology) or B Sc (Microbiology) or B.Sc (Bio-physics) or B.Sc (Bio-chemistry) or B.Sc (Microbial, Food Technology, Chemistry) or B.Sc. industrial Chemistry or B.Sc. Food Science and Quality Control or B.Sc. Microbial food Technology is any other equivalent qualification, but a certificate of equivalency should be given by the concerned University as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission. (ii) Should have passed B.Ed from a recognized university or an institution with Science as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission. |

(ii) Should have passed B.Ed from a recognized university or an institution with Social Science as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission. |
| English | 790 | (i) Should have passed Graduation with minimum of 45% percent marks in the case of the persons from the General category. (ii) with a minimum of 40% marks in the case of the persons from the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, other Backward Classes, Backward Classes, and Physically Handicapped category, from a recognized university or institution and should have studied English as an elective subject for a period of three years; or Should have studied Functional English, English Literature, B.A. Honors (English), B.A. (Honours) English in Graduation; or its equivalent; or Should have passed Post Graduation in English; and (iii) Should have passed B.Ed. from a recognized university or institution with English as one of the teaching subjects as per University Grants Commission guidelines. |

| Physical Education | 168 | Should have passed Four years integrated course of Bachelor of Physical Education from a recognized university or institution after 10+2 at least with 55% marks. Or Bachelors degree at least with 55% marks with Physical Education as a subject in three years Graduation Course from a recognized University or institution and should have acquired one year course of B.P.Ed/ D.P.Ed from a recognized university or institution as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission. Or Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University or institution at least with 55% marks and having participated in National or State Games or Athletics or Cricket which is being organized by the Indian Punjab Olympic Association/ State Sports Association and in addition should have acquired one year course of B.P.Ed/ D.P.Ed from a recognized University or institution after Graduation as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission. |
Age Limit:- The minimum and maximum age limits for Master Cadre (Border Area) Posts are 18 years and 37 years respectively.
