Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2022 for the recruitment to various Civil Services such as the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), Indian Railway Management Service, and more. Eligible candidates can apply before 22-02-2022 (06:00 P.M).
UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 Details:-
Candidates applying for Civil Services Exam must check the number of vacancies and eligibility criteria (Nationality, Age Limit, and Educational Qualification):-
I. Vacancies
The number of vacancies to be filled through the examination is expected to be approximately 1011 which includes 40 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category.
II. Nationality
The candidate who is going to apply for the Civil Services Exam 2022 should have citizenship of India issued by the government of India. The following candidates can also apply for the exam –

2. | a subject of Bhutan or |
3. | a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 and have planned to settle in India permanently |
4. | a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. |
III. Age Limit
The minimum and maximum age limits for UPSC Civil Services Examination are 21 years and 32 years respectively. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
IV. Educational Qualifications
The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
Application Fee:- Candidates are required to pay the fee of Rs.100 (non-refundable) in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card or by using Internet Banking of SBI. Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates are exempted from payment of a fee.
