Pay Scale & Salary
Salaries at CPRI follow the 7th Pay Commission norms. For a Scientist, the pay typically falls under Pay Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 - Rs. 1,77,500). Technical Assistants usually receive Pay Level 6 (Rs. 35,400 - Rs. 1,12,400), while administrative and support staff like LDCs are in Pay Level 2 (Rs. 19,900 - Rs. 63,200). In addition to basic pay, employees receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other benefits as per central government rules.
