Pay Scale & Salary

Salaries at CSIO follow the 7th Central Pay Commission scales. For Scientists, the pay typically starts at Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500) plus allowances. Technical staff and other administrative roles fall into appropriate pay levels (e.g., Level 2-6). Employees also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), medical facilities, and other perks as per Central Government rules.
