About Directorate of Estates

The Directorate of Estates (DoE) is a crucial Central Government organization under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. Established to ensure efficient management and allocation of government properties, the DoE plays a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth functioning of various government departments and providing residential accommodation to eligible Central Government employees across India. This includes the allotment of general pool residential accommodation, office space, shops, and other properties.
