The Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT) , located in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, is a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), India. Pay Scale & Salary
Salaries at IHBT follow the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations for scientists and technical staff, inclusive of Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA). For project-based positions, emoluments like Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Senior Research Fellowship (SRF), and Project Associate salaries are competitive and as per CSIR/DST norms, offering attractive stipends.
