Pay Scale & Salary
Salaries at IIT Bhilai follow the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations. Faculty members receive pay as per academic levels (e.g., Level 10 for Assistant Professor, Level 12 for Associate Professor), while non-teaching staff are compensated according to their respective pay matrix levels. In addition to basic pay, employees receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other benefits as per Central Government rules, along with medical facilities and provident fund contributions.
