Pay Scale & Salary

Indian Air Force personnel receive competitive salaries as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. For Flying Officers, the pay matrix starts at Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500) plus Military Service Pay and numerous allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, Flying Allowance, Technical Allowance, and Field Area Allowance. Agniveer Vayu personnel receive a distinct composite package for four years, including a Seva Nidhi corpus and life insurance cover.
