The Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre (JNARDDC) , located in Nagpur, is a premier autonomous body under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. Established in 1989 with assistance from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), JNARDDC plays a pivotal role in the Indian aluminium industry. It serves as a national centre of excellence for research, development, design, and consultancy in the entire spectrum of aluminium production and applications, from bauxite to finished products.
