Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Sitamarhi is a vital agricultural extension centre operating under the administrative control of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (DRPCAU), Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar. Established with the vision to bridge the gap between agricultural research and practical application at the grassroots level, KVK Sitamarhi plays a pivotal role in the agricultural development of the Sitamarhi district and surrounding regions of Bihar, India. The mandate of KVK Sitamarhi, aligned with the broader objectives of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), includes on-farm testing of agricultural technologies to assess their suitability under local conditions, conducting front-line demonstrations to showcase the production potential of new technologies, and imparting vocational training to farmers, rural youth, and extension functionaries.
