The Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS) , a pivotal Central Government ministry in India, was formed in May 2019 by merging the erstwhile Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation and the Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation.
