Pay Scale & Salary

Salaries at ICMR-NITVAR adhere to the 7th Pay Commission norms. For Scientist 'B' posts, pay starts at Level 10 (INR 56,100 - 1,77,500 basic). Technical and Administrative staff are compensated according to their respective pay levels, ranging from Level 2 to 7. Employees also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), Medical Benefits, and are covered under the National Pension System (NPS).
