Pay Scale & Salary
Scientists at NPOL, typically recruited as Scientist 'B' (equivalent to Group 'A' Gazetted post), receive salaries as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, usually in Pay Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500). In addition to basic pay, they are entitled to various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other perks as applicable to Central Government employees and DRDO personnel.
