Pay Scale & Salary

Salaries at RCI follow the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations. For Scientists 'B', the pay typically starts at Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500), along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other perks as per Central Government rules. Junior Research Fellows receive a competitive monthly stipend, while Technical and Administrative staff also receive salaries as per their respective pay levels and applicable allowances.
