Pay Scale & Salary
Salaries at SNBNCBS are competitive and follow Central Government norms. Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) receive a stipend as per DST guidelines (e.g., Rs. 37,000 + HRA), while Postdoctoral Fellows are offered fellowships (e.g., Rs. 58,000 - 67,000 + HRA). Faculty positions are compensated according to the 7th CPC pay matrix (Levels 10-14 for Assistant Professor to Professor), inclusive of Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, medical benefits, and research grants. Other scientific and administrative staff also receive remuneration as per the prescribed Central Government pay scales.
