UPSC Civil Services (Main) Exam 2021 Interview Schedule Released

The Union Public Service Commission has released the Personality Tests (Interviews) Schedule for the candidates who have cleared the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2021.

On the basis of the results of the Civil Services (Main) Exam 2021 declared by the UPSC on 17th March 2022, the Commission has decided to commence the Interviews of the Civil Services (Main) Exam from 05-04-2022. The e-Summon Letters of Interviews of the candidates will be made available shortly.

Civil Services (Main) Exam 2021 Interview Schedule

The UPSC Civil Services Exam interview will be conducted from 05th April 2022 to 26th May 2022. Further, the personality tests will be held in two sessions:

  • Forenoon: From 9 am onwards
  • Afternoon From 1 pm onwards.

No request for change in the date and time of the Personality Test (Interview) intimated to the candidates will ordinarily be entertained.

Important Note: If a candidate fails to fill up the DAF-II within the stipulated date and time, his/ her candidature shall be cancelled and no e-Summon Letter shall be issued to that candidate.

Travelling Allowance for Personality Test – Check Conditions

Considering the current COVID-19 pandemic situation and practice followed in the previous years, the Competent Authority has decided to reimburse the lowest ‘to’ and ‘fro’ airfare for travelling by any Airlines (through the authorized travel agents), to the outstation candidates for attending Interviews/ PT Boards subject to the following conditions:-

(a)The air ticket of the lowest available fare of Economy class should be booked through the following authorized travel agents only:-
1. Ashoka Tours & Travels,
2. Balmer & Lawrie; and
3. IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation)
(b)Air Tickets are booked through the website of the airlines or through Private travel agents viz. MakeMyTrip, Yatra, Goibibo, Ease My Trip, Cleartrip, Paytm etc. will not be considered for reimbursement;
(c)Candidates will have to submit hard copies/ print out of Air Tickets showing the details of airfare along with Boarding pass for reimbursement, and an undertaking to the effect that the Air Ticket has been booked at the best available lowest fare; at the time of claiming Travel Allowance contribution;
(d)Second/ Sleeper class train fare (Mail Express) will be reimbursed if the candidates perform their journey by Rail irrespective of Class.

Candidates are instructed to strictly adhere to the above conditions while making their travel arrangements for attending the Personality Test Boards of UPSC CSE 2021. It may be noted that in case of deviation from the above conditions, the TA claims of the candidate will not be considered.
