WB Police Constable Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:- The applicant must not be less than 18 (eighteen) years old and must not be more than 27 (twenty-seven) years old as of 01st January 2022. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes as per extant rules/orders of the Government. The upper age limit is also relaxable for Home Guards Personnel as per existing Government Rules. However, Age relaxation is NOT available to Civic Volunteers.
Educational Qualification:- The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

WB Police Constable Bharti 2022 – Selection Procedure
The posts of Constable and Lady Constable in the Kolkata Police shall be filled up on the basis of qualifying the Preliminary Written Test which will act as a screening test followed by the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Written Exam and Interview to be conducted by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
