Eligibility

Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India. Age Limit: A candidate must be between 21 and 30 years of age. For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees, the upper age limit is 32 and 34 years respectively. Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST) Ex-Servicemen: Up to 5 years Candidates with prior experience as an officer in Public Sector Banks/Financial Institutions: Up to 5 years Educational Qualification: Grade B (General): A minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) in Bachelor's Degree, as well as in 10th and 12th Standard examinations. OR A minimum of 55% marks in Master's Degree or an equivalent recognized qualification for all categories. Grade B (DEPR): Master's Degree in Economics/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics/Mathematical Economics/Integrated Economics Course/Finance with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or a Ph.D. in related fields. Grade B (DSIM): Master's Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/Econometrics/Statistics & Informatics/Applied Statistics & Informatics with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or a Ph.D. in related fields. Number of Attempts: General category candidates can attempt the examination 6 times. There is no such restriction for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories.
