Nationality: Must be a citizen of India. Age Limit: Generally, candidates must be between 20 to 25 years of age as on the specified cut-off date. Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates: 5 years OBC candidates: 3 years Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date of receipt of online application. Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989: 5 years Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried (for SI in Delhi Police only): Up to 35 years of age. For SC/ST Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried (for SI in Delhi Police only): Up to 40 years of age. Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree from a recognized University or equivalent is mandatory for all posts. Physical Standards (PST): Specific requirements for height, chest (for males), and weight apply based on categories and regions. For instance, general male candidates typically require a minimum height of 170 cm. Driving License (for SI in Delhi Police only): Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests (PE&MT). Learning License is not acceptable. Number of Attempts: There is no restriction on the number of attempts within the eligible age limit.
