About Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute
The Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI) plays a pivotal role in strengthening the agricultural extension system across India. Established under the aegis of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), ATARI is responsible for planning, monitoring, evaluating, and coordinating the technology assessment, refinement, and demonstration activities of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) in its mandated zone. Pay Scale & Salary
Salaries at ATARI are governed by the 7th Central Pay Commission norms, offering attractive pay scales. In addition to basic pay, employees receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), medical facilities, and other perks as per Central Government rules. Specific pay levels depend on the post, e.g., Scientists are typically in Academic Level 10 or above.
