Analyst - Data Science

As a Data Scientist specializing in credit risk analytics, your role will involve performing ad-hoc analysis on large-scale data to extract actionable insights and support data-driven decision making. You will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of the credit risk modelling lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, validation, and monitoring. Additionally, you will build foundational knowledge of machine learning techniques and their applications in credit risk, such as classification, regression, and ensemble methods. Your support will be vital in validating existing credit risk models and in developing or enhancing models under the guidance of senior team members. You will also be extracting, manipulating, and exploring large datasets using Python (pandas and related data analysis libraries) and SQL to ensure data quality and integrity. Clear communication of analytical findings and model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership presentations, will be a key aspect of your role.
