Accounting Manager

Your Role Overview: Cisco's Corporate Controller's Group (CCG) is committed to supporting business processes with integrity and credibility through developing, influencing, and implementing global financial policy and process, including the Global Accounting & Reporting (GAR) group. As an Accounting Manager at Cisco, you will be responsible for maintaining accounting processes, procedures, and systems to ensure adherence to US GAAP and company policy under fixed assets and new lease standards. Key Responsibilities: - Manage fixed asset operations, audits, and physical verification of assets - Oversee accounting of the lease portfolio, including extensions, amendments, or terminations, through the lease system - Interpret business requirements for new fixed asset projects and align systems and processes to ensure compliance - Prepare accounting memos and close decks for fixed assets and lease accounting and reporting - Lead projects focused on streamlining or designing end-to-end processes, addressing IT related issues impacting fixed asset and lease processes - Conduct ad hoc data analysis, reporting, and metrics to support decision-making - Serve as Global Process Owner collaborat…
