Software Developer (Frontend Engineer)

As a software developer (frontend), your role involves working closely with the product team on various insurance solution products and features to drive growth. You will be responsible for: - Developing new user-facing features using React.js, Vue.js, and knockoutJs - Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use - Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers - Having experience with ES6 and a valuable understanding of at least one statically typed language (Typescript, C#, Java, etc.) - Having a thorough understanding of React.js, VueJs and its core principles, and a complete understanding of popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) - Being familiar with modern front-end build pipelines and tools - Benchmarking and optimizing within the industry and other product-based platforms - Having a good understanding of quality JavaScript code (Object-oriented and commonly used design patterns) - Being capable of debugging complex issues in JavaScript - Understanding JS debug tools and Chrome DevTools - Understanding JS module patterns like CommonJS, AMD, SystemJS Qualifications required for this role…
