Warehouse Engineer

Responsibilities Evaluate current warehousing operations and consider business needs and areas for improvement. Design, develop, and implement automated systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in warehousing processes, collaborating with external vendors and global SMEs. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including design, testing, and startup phases. Coordinate with suppliers and other work streams (IT, Civil, Production, etc) for design, RFQ, detailed design, and equipment delivery. Lead concept and basic design phases to support detailed design and construction. Support the engineering and operations teams during project startup. Stay updated with advancements in warehousing technologies and processes, updating company standards as technologies advance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, leading initiatives to promote safer and more sustainable operations. Adhere to all safety requirements and work regulations. Provide training and support to warehouse staff to use the automated systems and processes efficiently. Document all processes and changes and create local user manuals or instructions.…
