Accounting Lead

Role Overview: As the Accounting Lead at Nextpower based in Hyderabad, India, you will report to the MEIAT Controller and play a crucial role in the Corporate Controllership team. Your responsibilities will include supporting the General Ledger accounting function, month-end and quarter-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry preparation, financial reporting support, and financial control activities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day general ledger accounting activities such as journal entry preparation, account analysis, accruals, reclasses, allocations, and month-end close support. - Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely certification. - Gather, review, and analyze financial data to support close reporting, management review, and business decision-making. - Ensure accounting activities are performed in compliance with company policies, internal controls, approval requirements, and regulatory standards. - Assist with finance transformation initiatives, ERP enhancements, reporting improvements, and process standardization activities. - Supervise, coach, and develop accounting and finance team mem…
