Die Maintenance

Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling shift operations in Casting Die Maintenance area with a team size of 20. Your key focus will be on achieving SOP of new plant die maintenance area, operational knowledge of conventional and CNC machines, training new workers, achieving shift area targets, supporting training of new supervisors, and ensuring timely die preventive checks and corrections. Additionally, you will be required to maintain floor control in the core area. Key Responsibilities: - Implement effective preventive maintenance plan for high pressure die casting dies - Repair dies independently using conventional and VMC machines - Monitor and improve die wise breakdown percentage - Suggest and implement ways to enhance die performance on machines - Train new operators as per WIS and support in developing new supervisors - Ensure shift safety adherence and report near misses - Resolve or report operator concerns promptly and undergo multiskilling as per plan - Maintain area floor control and adhere to 1S / 2S standards - Understand and adhere to 5S, 3G, 3K, HP-REN-SO principles - Participate in 5 Why analysis, PDCA, 7 QC Tools, and provide cost-saving suggestions…
