Senior Business Systems Analyst - Patient Accounting Analyst

As a Cerner Patient Accounting Specialist at Optum, your role involves supporting and enhancing Cerner Patient Accounting workflows to improve health outcomes for millions of people. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting and enhancing Cerner Patient Accounting workflows such as billing, claims, payments, adjustments, follow-ups, and AR management - Configuring and maintaining PA components such as billing entities, financial classes, charge rules, write-offs, and transactions - Analyzing business requirements and translating them into Cerner PA configuration and functional solutions - Performing incident management, root cause analysis, and defect resolution for PA-related issues - Supporting upgrades, domain moves, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and go-live activities - Collaborating with Revenue Cycle, Patient Financial Services (PFS), Compliance, and Technical teams - Developing and maintaining functional documentation, workflows, and configuration guides - Validating data accuracy and ensuring compliance with healthcare billing standards and organizational policies - Providing end-user support, training, and knowledge transfer as needed Additionally, you will be r…
