Essential Qualification in the Department of Hospital Administration: For Medical Candidates: (i) A medical qualification included in Schedule I & ll or part ll of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-ll of the third Scheduled should also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act). (ii) A postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. OR A Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from a recognized Institution/ University or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. (iii) Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree of MD/MS/MHA or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. For Non-Medical candidates: (i) Master’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized institution or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. (ii) Postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration e.g. Master’s degree in Hospital Administration. (iii) Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience in Hospital Administration in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree in Hospital Administration or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. |
