The University of Delhi has released the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professor in various Departments. Eligible candidates can apply before 20-10-2021.

| Assistant Professor Level 10 as per 7th CPC | 251 | For the disciplines of Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences, Sciences, Languages and Library Science, Music:- 1) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant /allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. 2) Ph.D. Degree in a concerned subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. 3) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR. Or The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign University/ Institution with a ranking among top 500 in the world University ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) The Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) The Academic Ranking Of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai). For the discipline of Management Studies:- 1. First Class Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration/ in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two years full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU/ accredited by the AICTE / UGC. Or First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/ Cost and Works Accountant/ Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies. 2. Ph.D. Degree in a concerned subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. 3. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR. Or The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign University/Institution with a ranking among the top 500 in the world University ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) The Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) The Academic Ranking Of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai). For the discipline of Education:- a) Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization. b) Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed./M.A. Education) with a minimum of 55% marks. c) Ph.D. Degree in a concerned subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. |
Application Fee:- UR/OBC/EWS category candidates have to pay Rs.500 through credit/debit card/Net Banking. No application fee will be charged from applicants from SC, ST, PwBD category, and Women applicants.
