Senior Scientist and Head Level-13A	02	(i) Doctoral Degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs.15600 – 39100 with GP-5400/6000/7000/8000 having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidence by published work innovation and impact. (ii) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System, set out in University.
Subject Matter Specialist Level-14	16	(i) Master’s degree in agriculture in relevant subject or any other branch of science/ social science relevant to agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. (ii) A minimum score as stipulated in API-based PBAS set out by the university.
Assistant Professor Level-10	75	Other than Agricultural Engineering and Dairy Technology:- (i) Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks from an Indian university or an equivalent degree. (ii) NET shall remain compulsory for all candidates. (iii) Further, the award of degrees to candidates registered for the Ph.D./ M.Phil program prior to July 11 2009 shall be governed by the provisions of then-existing Ordinances/ Bylaws/ Regulations of the institution awarding the degree, and Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/ SLET/ SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the conditions. Agricultural Engineering and Dairy Technology:- (i) B.E/ B.Tech/ B.S and M.E/ M.Tech/ M.S or integrated M.Tech in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. (ii) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System, set out in University.
Assistant Librarian Level-10	05	(i) Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent degree with 55% marks from University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign University. (ii) Qualifying in the national level test (NET) in Library Science conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. (iii) Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided, it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations, 2009 and as amended by the ICAR/ UGC from time to time. (iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System, set out in University.
