Reserve Bank of India invites applications from eligible candidates for 950 posts of ‘Assistant’ – 2021 in various offices of the Bank. Eligible candidates can apply online before 08-03-2022.

RBI Assistant 2021 Eligibility Criteria:-
Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Assistant should ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. To be eligible for the Assistant 2021 Exam the candidate needs to fulfill the following parameters (Nationality, Age limit, and Educational qualification).
I. Nationality
The candidate who is going to apply for the Assistant 2021 exam should have citizenship of India issued by the government of India.
II. Age Limit
Between 20 and 28 years as on 01-02-2022. Candidates who must have been born not earlier than 02-02-1994 and not later than 01-02-2002 (both days including) are only eligible to apply. The upper age limit is relaxed as under:-

| Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC / ST) | By 5 years, i.e. up to 33 years |
| Other Backward Classes (OBC) | By 3 years, i.e. up to 31 years |
| Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) | By 10 years (GEN/ EWS), 13 years (OBC) & 15 years (SC/ST) |
| Ex-Servicemen | To the extent of service rendered by them in Armed Forces plus an additional period of 3 years subject to a maximum of 50 years. |
| Widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re-married | By 10 years |
| Candidates having work experience in the Reserve Bank of India | To the extent of a number of years of such experience, subject to a maximum of 3 years. |
III. Educational Qualifications

| 1. | At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC. |
| 2. | A candidate belonging to the Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defense service. |
| 3. | Candidates applying for the post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office. |

Application Fee:- Candidates belonging to OBC/ General/ EWS are required to pay a fee (Examination fees+ Intimation Charges) of Rs.450 whereas SC/ ST/ PwBD/ EXS are required to pay Rs.50 as Intimation Charges by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
