Professor Level-14	18	i) Doctoral degree in Seed Science & Technology including relevant basic sciences. ii) 10 year’s experience in the relevant subject out of which: a. 8 years should be as a Scientist/Lecturer/Extension specialist or in an equivalent position in the PB – 3 of Rs.15600 – 39100 with grade pay of 5400/6000/ 7000/8000 and b. 2 years as Associate Professor/Senior Scientist or in an equivalent position in the pay band – 4 of Rs. 37400-67000 with grade pay of Rs. 8700/9000. iii) The Candidate should have made a contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations and impact.
Associate Professor Level-13A	25	i) Doctoral degree in relevant Plant Pathology/Plant Virology including relevant basic sciences. ii) 8 years experience as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in PB-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay Rs. 5400/ 6000/ 7000/ 8000. iii) The Candidate should have made a significant contribution to Research/ Teaching/ Extension as evidenced by published work, innovations, and impact.
Assistant Professor Level-10	29	i) Master’s degree in relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point. Evidence of having qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR-ASRB, UGC-CSIR. OR ii) Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 2 published research papers in scientific journals with NAAS rating of more than 5.0

Age Limit:- Not Less than 18 years

Place of Posting:- Selected candidates can be posted at any College/ KVK/ Centre/ Institute of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar. However, he/she will be liable to serve anywhere in India.
