India Post has released the notification for the recruitment to the post of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Postman, and MTS in Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle. Eligible candidates can apply before 27-11-2021.

(v) Candidates should have a valid license of a two-wheeler or three-wheeler or light motor vehicle within a period of two years from the date of their appointment. Persons with disabilities are exempted from the possession of the license. (vi) The candidates who do not have valid driving licenses at the time of appointment shall not earn periodical increments in pay till the production of such license or for a period of five years from the date of whichever is earlier and after production of such license or expiry of such five years period, the pay shall be restored prospectively to the level pay would have reached as if periodical increment in pay was not withheld and no arrears shall be paid for the intervening period. |

Application Fee:- The candidates have to pay Rs.200 through online payment or in any of the Head Post Offices in India for crediting through the GDS fee portal specifying Direct Recruitment of Sports Quota for Andhra Pradesh Circle by Producing Registration Number.

| First Preference | Candidates who have represented the country in an international competition with the clearance of the department of youth affairs and sports. |
| Second Preference | Candidates who have represented a state/ union territory in the senior or junior level national championship organized by the national sports federations recognized by the department of youth affairs and sports or national games organized by the Indian Olympic Association and have won medals or positions up to the third place. Between the candidates participating in senior and junior national championship/ games, the candidates who have participated and won the medals in the senior national championship gets preference |
| Third Preference | Candidates who have represented a University in an Inter-University competition conducted by the association of Indian Universities/ Inter-University Sports Board and have won medals or positions up to third place in finals. |
| Fourth Preference | Candidates who have represented a State Schools in the National Sports/ Games for schools conducted by the All Indian Schools Games federation and have won medals or positions up to third place. |
| Fifth Preference | Candidates who have been awarded National Award in Physical Efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive. |
| Sixth Preference | Candidates who have represented a State/ Union Territory/ University State School teams at the level (II) to (IV) above but could not win a medal or position in the same order of preference. |
Place of Posting:- The selected candidates shall be posted anywhere in Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle.

- Women, Transgender Women candidates, SC/ ST are exempted from the payment of fees.
