Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professor in the different disciplines. There are 606 vacancies of Assistant Professors in Group-A of Odisha Education Service of Government Degree Colleges and the last date to apply is 25-11-2021. The commission also released 381 vacancies of Assistant Professors in Group-A under Odisha Medical Education Service and candidates can apply from 22-11-2021 to 20-12-2021.

(ii) Where the DM/ M.Ch is of two years duration or five years recognized course after MBBS, one-year teaching and research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty shall be required after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM or M.Ch. (iii) Those candidates who have undergone Diplomate National Board training in the concerned subject as also eligible for the post of Assistant Professor subject to fulfilling any other criteria regarding Diplomate National Board, prescribed by MCI/ NMC from time to time. |
Age Limit:- 21 – 45 years
Examination Fee:- The candidate other than SC, ST, PWD category shall have to pay Rs.400 (Rs.500 for candidates applying under Odisha Medical Education Service) through online mode using internet banking/ debit card/ credit card/ UPI or any other available payment methods.
